NEET 2025 – Know the Eligibility, Syllabus, Registration and Other Details

NEET 2025 official notification is expected to be out soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET official notification. NEET or National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam and almost 25 lakh students prepare for this medical entrance exam. The official website of release of NEET 2025 notification is www.neet.nta.nic.in.

Until now only the notification of NEET syllabus 2025 has been released by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Seeing the past year trends it is expected that NEET registration will start in the month of January and will end in February. Candidates who have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in class 12 are eligible to apply for NEET 2025. Read below to know all the details of the exam.

NEET Registration 2025

The registration for NEET 2025 is expected to start in the month of January and will end in the month of February. All eligible candidates have to start with the registration process once the NEET registration link is activated on the official website. After the registration process is done the exam authorities open the application correction window wherein you get a chance to fix the errors in your application for NEET. NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Medical aspirants have to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria for NEET 2025. As per the eligibility criteria one should have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as a compulsory subject. The minimum required percentage in class 12 for NEET for the candidates belonging to the general category is 50% whereas those belonging to the reserved categories must have at least 40% in the aggregate marks.

Nationality Indian Nationals, Non – Resident Indians, Persons holding Overseas Citizenship of India, Persons of Indian Origin and Foreign Nationals – all such candidates are eligible for NEET as per the nationality criteria.
Age Limit Aspirants must be at least 17 years old on December 31, 2025. Candidates must note that as per the NEET age eligibility there is no upper age limit for appearing for the exam.
Academic Qualifications 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Minimum Marks  50% for General, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD
Number of Attempts No limit has been set for taking the number of attempts in NEET 2025.

NEET Admit Card 2025

It is expected that the admit card of NEET will be out in the first week of May 2025. The admit card will be released on the official website of the National Testing Agency. Candidates will be able to download the admit card via their ID and password.

No, the official notification of NEET is not yet out. Only the official NEET syllabus pdf has been released.

No, until 2024 there is no limit to the number of attempts for the NEET exam.
