The IIT Kanpur Placement 2025 Phase 1 results are now available, while the Phase 2 results are still pending. The campus of IIT Kanpur was visited by 250 companies in all. Among the leading organisations that took part in the placement session were FedEx, ICICI Bank, Texas Instruments, Shiprocket, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Databricks, BPCL, NPCI, Intel, Qualcomm, Reliance, Cars24, Meril Life, Deutsche Bank, SLB, Micron, and others.

A total of 1035 of the 1109 offers that were received during the first phase of the IIT Kanpur placement session were accepted. Under the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) sector, BPCL was the leading recruiter, and the majority of the students were placed in core sectors.

A significant influence was made by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), with BPCL standing out as one of the leading recruiters in this sector. A notable increase in positions within key industries was also seen in the placements, indicating that students are becoming more interested in these fields.

According to official reports, the number of offers received increased by 27% when compared to the placement record from the previous year. Students of IIT Kanpur received twenty-eight offers from overseas. On the first day of phase-1 placements at IIT Kanpur, 579 offers were received. In the first week of phase 1, the number surpassed 1000.
