What is NEET Cutoff 2025?
NEET cutoff 2025 is the minimum qualifying marks that an aspirant must obtain in order to take admission to the top medical colleges through this exam. NEET cutoff is released based on the rank that is allotted based on the marks obtained by the candidates in NEET.
Types of NEET Cutoff
The NEET cutoff 2025 has been classified into two broad categories:
1. Qualifying Cutoff of NEET
- This is the minimum percentile required to be eligible for NEET 2025 counselling.
- This cutoff is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- This cutoff is released for for different categories and generally here is the qualifying cutoff for NEET 2025
- General: 50th percentile
- OBC/SC/ST: 40th percentile
- PwD: 45th percentile
2. NEET Admission Cutoff
- This cutoff is the minimum score in NEET that is required to secure a seat in medical colleges.
- This cutoff is released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and respective state authorities responsible for the state level counselling.
- This cutoff is different for All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota admissions.
